I realize that several folks have found this blog and weren't sure that if they knew me. So here we go, a photo of aaron.

Rainier as I begin my hike

This was the view as I started my hike. Gorgeous, but daunting.

Other Mountains

These mountains are directly opposite Rainier. I'm sure they have names, but I'll call them Mount Tall and Mount Not So Short.

Mount Rainier

It's awfully pretty. You can see a sparse cloud in the middle, later that cloud moved across the face of Rainier as I was hiking.

The front of this mountain is incredibly steep, and craggy. It's amazingly beautiful, not sure the photo captures that fully.
